Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole was born on 4 April 1952 at Iyanmoh, near Auchi in Edo State. He was born Muslim but was led to Christianity by his late wife Clara. He is Catholic and his Christian name is Eric. After his secondary education, he obtained a job with the Arewa Textiles Company, where he was elected union secretary. He became a full-time trade union organizer in 1975. He then studied at Ruskin College, Oxford in the United Kingdom where he majored in economics and industrial relations. He also attended the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru In 1982, Adams Oshiomhole was appointed General Secretary of the National Union of Textile Garment and Tailoring Workers of Nigeria, a union with over 75,000 workers. After democracy was restored in 1999, he became president of the Nigerian Labour Congress. Early in the administration of President Olusegun Obasanjo he negotiated a 25% wage increase for public sector workers. In return he publicly supported Obasanjo and endorsed his candidacy when he was re-elected in 2003.The Textile union elected Oshiomhole for a second term as General Secretary, while he continued as president of the NLC.
In April 2007, Adams Oshiomhole ran for Governor of Edo State under the Action Congress Party, with which his Labour Party had entered a strategic alliance. Oserheimen Osunbor of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) was declared the winner. However, the AC contested the election on the basis of various irregularities. On 20 March 2008, an Edo State election tribunal nullified the election of Oserheimen Osunbor and declared Oshiomhole the winner. On 11 November 2008, a federal Appeal Court sitting in Benin City upheld the ruling of the state's elections petitions tribunal, declaring Oshiomole to be the Governor of Edo State. The decision was based on several voting irregularities.In 2012, he was elected to a second term, winning the elections in a massive landslide.

Ngozi Juliet Olejeme

Ngozi Juliet Olejeme is a Nigerian Philanthropist, entrepreneur, politician and administrator . She presently sits on the board of numerous companies and Government establishments, most notably is the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust-fund (NSITF) Where she currently sits as the Chairman of the Board, Subsidy Re-Investment Program (SURE-P) and Trust Fund Pension, among others.She was a Delta State Gubernatorial Aspirant on the Platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
She was appointed chairman of the board, Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) in June 2009 by late President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua. She saw to the successful enactment into law of the Employees’ Compensation Act in December 2010, and the setting up of necessary human and physical infrastructure for the implementation of the Act, which was signed by President Goodluck Jonathan. She also took the helm as the Chairman of the Board of Trustfund Pensions Plc, on October 2009, where she still holds the position. She is also the convener of the Subsidy Reinvestment and empowerment program (SURE-P) sub-committee on Public Works and Road Rehabilitation. She presently holds the Director of finance position in the Goodluck Support Group (GSC), which is an organization set up for the support of President Goodluck Jonathan.

Femi Ayodele

Dr. Justus Donye Pearse
Dr. Justus Donye Pearse is the General Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at the Corporate Headquarters of the French Oil Giant, TOTAL Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited., in Abuja.
This Medical Practioner of more than 30 years standing was once a class room teacher at the St. Pius X Secondary School, Bodo – Ogoni (Jan. – Dec, 1972); and a Production Pool Operator at the Nigerian Petroleum Refining Company, Alesa-Eleme near Port Harcourt, (Dec. 1972 – Sept. 1973).
Born and brought up in Port Harcourt, he attended the prestigious Government Secondary School, Afikpo and the Baptist High School, Port Harcourt before proceeding in September 1973 to study Medicine at the University of Ife, Ile-Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) where he gained  a B.Sc. Hons degree in Medical Sciences in June 1977 and later graduated as a Medical Doctor in May 1980.
After his internship at the General Hospital, Port Harcourt and NYSC with the Nigerian Army, Ikot-Ansa, Calabar, he was employed as one of the pioneer staff of the newly established University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital in July, 1982 where he rose to the rank of Senior Medical Officer in the department of Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery before resigning to join the then Elf Petroleum Nigerian Limited as the company’s first Nigerian Medical Officer  on 1st December, 1991; where diligence, hardwork, commitment and competence saw him rising to the rank of Senior Medical Officer by the year 1998.
In June, 2005, he was promoted to Deputy General Manager, Medical Services in charge of all the company’s clinics in Port Harcourt, Lagos, Abuja and the field locations. It was from this position that he was promoted to General Manager, CSR on the 14th February, 2011 and transferred from Port Harcourt to head the newly created CSR Division at Corporate Headquarters, Abuja.
Dr. Pearse is a socio-cultural icon and means many things to different people. He can be best described as a grass-roots man, the people’s doctor, a socialite and a promoter and lover of culture and tradition. He is a keen sportsman, a lover of Golf, Football & Cricket. His other hobbies include music, dancing, meeting people and travelling. He is a member of The Port Harcourt Club 1928 where he belongs to the Golf section. He is also a member of the IBB International Golf Club, Abuja.
He is a staunch member of the Nigerian Medical Association where he has held several offices both at State and National levels; at International level - member, World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA); member, International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH); honorary member of both the International Paediatrics Association and the American Association of Family Physicians (AAFP)
He holds the traditional title of ‘Amaopusenibo’ of Opobo Kingdom – which was conferred on him by King Dandeson D. Jaja, Amanyanabo of Opobo , on April 28, 2012.
He is married to Mrs. Ngozi Soba Pearse and they have three (3) children.

John Nanzip Shagaya

John Nanzip ShagayaAfter graduation, Shagaya was posted to the Nigerian Army Corps, then posted to 3 Marine Commando when he gained his commission as Second Lieutenant. He participated with the Marine Commando in the Nigeria Civil War (1967–1970). Later appointments included Grade Three staff officer Nigeria Army School of Infantry, Jaji, Director of Cadets, Nigerian Defence Academy, Director of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji, Brigade Commander, 9 Mechanised Infantry Brigade, Military Secretary, Army Headquarters, and General Officer Commanding, 1st Mechanised Infantry Division Under the Military government of General Ibrahim Babangida (1985–1993), Shagaya was Federal Minister of Internal Affairs, a member of the Armed Forces Ruling Council and a member of the Police Council. He also served as chairman of the committee set up in 1987 to decide on Nigeria's membership of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference. Shagaya was involved in drafting the main protocols for the Economic Community of West African States. As a member of the National Boundary Commission, he helped resolve disputes with Benin and Chad.
John Nanzip Shagaya was appointed Field Commander in the ECOMOG Peacekeeping Force in Liberia in September 1993, relieving Major General Tunji Olurin. On November 17, 1993, General Sani Abacha became head of state after a military coup. Abacha distrusted Brigadier John Shagaya and other "IBB boys" loyal to Babangida. Within a few days, Shagaya was recalled from Liberia, demoted from Major General to Brigadier General and then retired from the army
John Shagaya was Director of Lion Bank (Nigeria) between 1998 and 2003.  John Shagaya was a foundation member of the United Nigeria People's Party (UNPP), running unsuccessfully for the Senatorial seat of Plateau South in 1999 elections. Before the 2003 elections he joined the All Nigeria People's Party (ANPP), but was defeated again.
John Nanzip Shagaya was elected as Senator for Plateau South in April 2007, running for the PDP.  His election was challenged, and nullified by the elections petition tribunal, but in December 2008 a Court of Appeal in Jos overthrew this decision and ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to immediately issue a Certificate of Return to Shagaya.

In June 2009, Shagaya warned that offering an amnesty to the Niger Delta militants might not end the violence. The militants might hide their best weapons, and return only disused and damaged ones.  In an interview in October 2009 he defended the various military interventions since Nigeria gained independence, and stated that the influence of generals in politics since 1999 simply reflected their training and discipline.
