Ja Rule Says He's Drug Free.

Months after his release from prison, and Queens emcee Ja Rule has announced that he is now drug free. The Pain Is Love 2 rapper made the announcement during this week’s appearance on “The Wendy Williams Show” as he stated, “I don’t do any drugs or anything of any nature anymore.”
Ja Rule has made numerous references to drug use on past records, among them the Jodie Mack-assisted “Smokin And Ridin.” Amidst a hook heavy with numerous “smoking and ridin” mentions, Ja Rule raps, “Yo, nobody leaves nobody breathes until I enter the party… Who's ridin and smokin tonight with players.” Similar mentions from Ja Rule have been made on “So Much Pain” and “6 Feet Underground.”
The Inc. rapper also addressed the popularity of drug culture in music and stated that although artists are allowed to practice freedom of speech, they should keep in mind that they are in fact role models.
“I mean, I think sometimes it’s taken out of context. We as artists we have the right to express ourselves,” said Ja Rule. “That is our first amendment, freedom of speech. But I also believe that we have an obligation to the youth to be somewhat responsible in what we say on records. But I think that comes with age. I think that comes with artists growing up and becoming assured of who they are as people. Then they start to realize that we are role models and they do have a responsibility.”
Ja Rule later touched on education as he revealed that he earned his GED (General Educational Development) while in prison and spoke on dropping his oldest daughter off at college this year.
“It’s funny because it’s kinda the same as being on the streets,” said the rapper. “I thought it was gonna be a lot different, but when I got there people actually had a lot of admiration for me, a lot of love for me. So, it was a really different experience…Yes, I just dropped my oldest daughter Brittney off to college…She’s at Hampton U.”
Although it’s only been a matter of months since Ja Rule’s release from prison, the rapper is already set to appear in I’m In Love With A Church Girl, a film directed by Steve Race.
“A lot of similarities. A lot of parallels between me and Miles,” said Ja Rule when asked if there are any similarities between him and the character he portrays. “He went through a lot of things. It’s an actual true story about a good friend of mine, Galley Molina, who’s also producer of the film and everything. But it’s a true story and he goes through things. He’s trying to become a better man and live a better way. His past keeps bringing him back to a dark place.”
Ja Rule was released from New York’s Ray Brook Federal Prison in May of this year. His two-year prison sentence stemmed from a criminal weapons possession charge he received in 2007. The rapper was also sentenced to 28 months in prison for tax evasion.
With his newfound release from prison, Ja Rule says he’s now more focused on acting than music. He revealed that particular news during a recent interview with USA Today.
“I love music. It’s my passion,” said Ja Rule. “This is my second wind right now and I’m happy to be home, but I think as I’m getting older, my passion is leaning toward doing more television and film. Music is my heart, but I see television and more movies in the next stage of my life.”

DMX has included a prayer on each of his official studio releases, beginning with his 1998 debut album, Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood. DMX also performs these prayers in concerts.
X has also often referenced religion in his music, including the intro to "I Miss You," a selection from 2001's The Great Depression, where the rapper speaks about God.

"I know that my savior lives," DMX recites on the song. "And at the end, he will stand on this earth. My flesh may be destroyed, yet from this body, I will see God. Yes, I will see him for myself and I long for that moment."

Drake Allegedly Drops Future From Tour; Future Sues.

Future reportedly suing Drake $1.5 million after being dropped from the rapper's "Would You Like A Tour" tour.

Atlanta rapper Future will allegedly no longer be featured on Drake’s upcoming "Would You Like A Tour" tour and according to the New York Post’s Page Six, Future is now suing the Young Money artist for a sum of $1.5 million for the $40,000 he would have allegedly made for each show.
This latest news involving the Pluto rapper comes just days after he said he was misquoted in a Billboard.com story published in early October. In the story, which detailed a private listening session Future held at the Billboard offices, he was quoted as saying, “Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do.”
Future’s quote was made in regards to Drake’s newly-released third album, Nothing Was The Same, and according to Page Six, it was not taken well by Drake.
“He told his agent either Future gets fired, or he’ll fire him,” said a source while speaking to Page Six.
Shortly following the release of Billboard's story, Future informed fans via Twitter that he was “disappointed on being misquoted.”

Compton, California rapper Game became the newest signee of one of Hip Hop's most powerful labels. YMCMB headman Birdman took to Twitter to relay the news.

Baby also followed up early Sunday morning with an Instagram picture and the caption, "S/O thagame shit to real whtup 5 west coast whts popin RICHGANG  YMCMBusine$$."
Game would later add to the news by retweeting Birdman, among others, who also tweeted about the new move. He would also reply to Birdman, saying "time to close the door on these niggas !!!! R$CHGANG."
Game released his latest mixtape, OKE (Operation Kill Everything) last week.

Following the release of Jesus Piece in 2012, Game became a free agent, no longer having to fill any obligations with Interscope Records, where he released his first five major label studio albums. Barely hours after his Skelewu video leaked online, Pop singer Davido traveled to London to re-shoot it with video director Mr Moe Musa.

Davido’s much anticipated video for his hit song ‘Skelewu‘ was released on October 15, 2013, but after fans and critics dished out mostly negative reviews, the 21-year-old singer claimed the video was never approved by his label and wasn’t meant to be released.

NET investigations reveal that the video clip was not uploaded on Davido official YouTube page, suggesting he did not upload it. Davido also explains on Twitter that when he watched the ‘leaked’ version two weeks ago, he decided to re-shoot it.

Davido tweeted out his frustration as soon as the video hit the web; ‘From the moment I first watched the leaked version 2 weeks ago I decided to re-shoot it. I knew right away that skelewu deserved a better vid‘, he wrote.

So who leaked the video? Davido believes he knows who the person is. ‘Can’t believe this dude did this… U know who u are!  … Then you wait till I’m on the plane lol smart move .. Karma‘, he also tweeted.

Fingers are pointing at the director of the first video, popular music video D.O.P Sesan Ogunro (who works with the likes of D’banj, Tiwa Savage, Iyanya and many others). But the director insists that despite the accusations, he’s as cool as ice. He wrote on Twitter ‘I am not fighting with anyone. these are rumours. Fade [Ogunro] and myself are cool with everyone‘.

Sesan’s sister and business partner, BEAT Fm OAP Fade Ogunro also tweeted in defense of Sesan ‘This is too funny. How do people come up with this?? Can anyone say ‘publicity stunt’?‘.

Davido seems to have moved on as he is currently re-shooting the video with Moe Musa. He posted a few pictures from the shoot on Instagram.

DMX & Swizz Beatz Collaborating On New DMX Album.

Exclusive: DMX and Swizz Beatz are reportedly working together for a new DMX album.

DMX and Swizz Beatz have been collaborating on new music slated to appear on DMX's upcoming album, according to DMX's publicist, Domenick Nati.

"Swizz and X are always working on a song," Nati said in an exclusive statement to HipHopDX. "Swizz is producing several tracks on X's album that he's working on."

No release date has been set for DMX's upcoming album.
A photograph of DMX and Swizz Beatz surfaced October 11 on Beatz' Instagram page. The photograph is from approximately 6 months ago, says his publicist, who tweeted about this in April.

1. As women, we're pretty picky when it comes to guys. We all have our list of deal breakers and don'ts that make us shy away from certain guys. But what do men steer clear of when it comes to women? Below, an AskMen.com columnist who calls himself 'The Player' (ahem) counsels men based on his vast dating experience. Find out which types of women he tossed out…then keep this inside info in mind on your next trip to the bar.

When pursuing your lady, use this as a guide: The Player's list of five types of women you should avoid. The Player has encountered many types of women in his existence, so who better to make a list than someone who's been through the entire book? Don't worry though, this list isn't gospel, it simply offers a few guidelines to keep you from meeting Dr. Jekyll, but dating Mrs. Hyde… proceed at your own discretion.

2. The smart-arse

Every man likes an articulate woman, a girl who can voice her opinion, sound intelligent and impress your friends with a philosophical debate on the downward spiral of modern politics.
OK, maybe that's pushing it a bit, but a woman with verbal confidence can be a hell of a turn-on. But let's be realistic, while it's always nice to date someone who is charismatic and well-versed, it's something quite different to date a woman who beats the opinionated war drum.
Unfortunately, these types exist, and for those who haven't had the privilege of strapping on your helmet and hunkering down for a verbal assault, you're definitely not missing out. Everyone comes from different wombs, so why does she seem to get angry with you when you can't agree?
Some women simply like to test you to see how well you stand up for yourself; others just like to exert their own power. The smart-arse exposes your intellectual weaknesses and will subsequently cut you down because of it. This is a type to avoid at all costs, as she will make the rest of your evening miserable while she stomps on your heart with an egomaniacal boot.

3. The gold digger

It doesn't take a genius to know that wooing a woman requires a trifocal effort of body, soul and spending power. As standard romantic procedures, you're going to have to take her for dinner, buy her flowers, whisk her away to the mountains for the weekend, and show her that the world is your oyster and she's the pearl.
But if I can give a word of caution to my free-spending comrades out there (I'm guilty of this too), make damn sure she's actually enjoying your company and not just your wallet. If you start to notice that she's expecting you to pay for everything but the kitchen sink, your credit card bill should be enough of a red flag to warrant an emergency landing.
Here's some sound advice: if you approach a woman and the first words out of her mouth are 'I'll have a glass of champagne,' chances are she's probably out to score some freebies, so proceed with caution.
If her friends show up and start ordering drinks as well, there's a good chance they'll all dissipate into the crowd once they've been served, leaving you with the tab. Avoid the Gold Digger type at all costs. Like the old proverb goes, you can't buy happiness, and a woman who thinks otherwise isn't worth your time.

4. Ms. Right

It was not too long ago that I had to end a relationship with this type of woman, much to my disappointment. She had a bevy of outstanding qualities, but her inability to accept a different opinion ultimately led to a breakup. Every time we got together, she would declare her astuteness and would never take my advice because it was always wrong.
Ms. Right is, well, stubbornly set in her ways, she's correct about everything, and if you even so much as make an unfavourable whisper, she'll lash out at you with the voraciousness of a python. The sad part is, Ms. Right types are hard to change, as their personal pride tends to get in the way of understanding others and the world around her, so all you can really do is avoid these women.
She may have been spoiled as a child, or perhaps she has just hung around too many snotty girlfriends for her own good. Either way, the red flags on these women fly high. Steer clear.

5. The Psycho

What is it about women who feel the need to call their man 10 times a day? More importantly, what is the guy going to tell a woman that he didn't just talk about an hour ago?
The Psycho will disrupt the balance you have in your day between work and home. She will meld your personal life with your business life, and make it clear to you that she exists and is planting her rump right in the middle of your daily agenda.
What's worse, if you tell her to stop being so obsessive and dependent, she'll completely deny any obsession she has. She will see it as a sign that she has to work harder to win you over, and then she'll end up bothering you more. See the vicious cycle here? The Psycho will never give up, and will drown you in her own insecurities about relationships and life. If you find yourself in this predicament, I encourage you to take the blue pill and wake up from your impending nightmare.

6. The Rebound

This type of woman is probably the most notorious on this list. You've heard the warnings to avoid being the 'rebound' guy, and it's a proven piece of advice. But yet, so many of us mistakenly fall for a woman without having a clue about her past relationships.
When we encounter a beautiful woman who makes a hell of a first impression, the attraction we feel is clockwork human behaviour. We seem to skip over our judgments in the hope that this will be love at first sight. But in this day and age, we are more often than not led down the wrong path, and what guys see as a blessed relationship is really just a temporary comfort for her.
The Rebound knows you are a good guy, so don't think you're failing the test. However, you've shown up at the right place at the wrong time, the invitation said seven, but you arrived at six. You're too early, and she's not ready.
It's difficult to offer any advice on how to pinpoint these types of women, but a good indicator is how persistent her friends are in trying to set her up with you, and how reluctant she is to do it, much to the chagrin of her friends. If you sense reluctance, trust your instinct. Don't bite.

7. There's Still Hope

With your head now freshly crammed with the follies of the five sin-ettes, you're probably wondering if there are any types out there that are worth pursuing. And my answer is: there most definitely are. You would be doing yourself a disservice to look for the types of women to avoid. Rather, find women that are your type and then decide whether to continue the pursuit. You can never go wrong by playing the field - remember: not even trying is the biggest avoidance of all.

8. The Transcendent Style

Always searching for that existential moment, he wants his partner to take him to another plane of consciousness. This guy doesn’t just want sex, he wants it to have him. Sound like a tall order? If you can fill it, he’ll reward you with eye-gazing, an introduction to tantric sex, synchronized breathing and loads of groovy spiritual energy.

Any woman who promotes these absurdities lives in a fantasy world and will have no problem at all treating a man in a way that she would never herself abide by. You can easily identify her by her incessant mantra, "All men think with their penises." Avoid her at all costs.

10. Miss Insecure.

This woman seems great at the start because she's very nice, accommodating and treats men well. But her inner insecurities don't take long to surface. Pretty soon she's calling you 10 times a day, asking to see "where the relationship is going," or because she "just wants to hear your voice." She needs constant reassurance that she's attractive, and worries incessantly about her makeup, hair and the alignment of her clothes. She's clingy, needy and compulsively agonizes that you're going to leave her at any moment for "someone better." This kind of thing can get really creepy really fast.

World football governing body FIFA have responded to Ethiopia Football Federation(EFF) protest letter against the referee decisions to disallow their goal against Nigeria over the weekend.

A day after performing at a New York City high school, the ex-Beatle surprised fans Thursday with an impromptu concert in Times Square.
McCartney announced the concert on Twitter and then arrived by taxi at the "Crossroads of the World" an hour later.
Despite the short notice, thousands of fans flocked to the busy midtown-Manhattan intersection for the lunchtime concert.
The 71-year-old rocker sang four songs from his latest album "New" from a trailer parked on West 46th Street and Broadway.
He joked: "Let's do this the same time tomorrow."
On Wednesday, McCartney performed and took questions from students at the Frank Sinatra High School in Queens. He was celebrating his second wedding anniversary with Nancy Shevell.

WNBA Finals Dominated By Minnesota Lynx’s 8-Months Pregnant Power Forward!

ATLANTA—The Minnesota Lynx swept the Atlanta Dream Thursday night to clinch their second WNBA championship in three years, led by several dominant performances from 31-year-old, eight-months pregnant Rebekkah Brunson.
Brunson, a 6-foot, 2-inch tall, 215-pound power forward who recently entered her third trimester, averaged 26 points and 14 rebounds in the series and was by all accounts the Lynx’s biggest threat on both ends of the floor.
“Rebekkah was really the difference-maker, there’s no question about that,” said Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve, adding that Brunson’s low-post game has drastically improved since putting on 40 pounds over the past few months. “She did it all—blocking shots, snagging rebounds, and absolutely dominating in the paint. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player just blow through the lane like that. No one could guard her.”
“When she threw her weight around down low, she was unstoppable,” Reeve continued. “Rebekkah was boxing out every other player on the court to get rebounds, and to do that against a team as good as the Dream was really something special.”
According to Reeve, Brunson’s commanding presence in the key and 37-centimeter baby bump set the tone for Minnesota’s success against Atlanta. “You want to leave it all out there during the Finals, and Rebekkah did that,” said Lynx forward Maya Moore, adding that Brunson has been incredibly diligent about taking her prenatal vitamins before and after every game. “They tried to get physical and knock her down whenever she drove to the basket, but she’s so big that she just shrugged off the hits like they were nothing. And when she dove for that loose ball in the third quarter, it just lifted the whole team.”
“She was just on a different level,” added Moore. “No one saw this coming at the beginning of the season when she was still suffering from morning sickness every day.”
Brunson did have several obstacles to overcome throughout the series, having to leave Game 1 for a full quarter due to abdominal cramping. Team sources said Brunson was also repeatedly forced to sub out of play in order to run to the locker room and change after lactating through her jersey.
At one point during Game 2, Brunson reportedly thought she had gone into preterm labor, but reentered the game several minutes later after realizing she had only experienced a Braxton Hicks contraction. She was then rested at the end of the decisive 88-63 victory and watched the final few minutes while lying on her side next to the bench with a large pillow between her legs.
Brunson’s regular mood swings, however, were said to work heavily in Minnesota’s favor, with the 31-year-old often bursting into tears on defense and angrily ripping the ball out of a Dream player’s hands for an all-time Finals record 67 steals.

“I have to hand it to Rebekkah—she was phenomenal, and we couldn’t figure out a way to contain her on either side of the ball,” said Dream coach Fred Williams, adding that Brunson was “simply too much” for Atlanta’s Angel McCoughtry, who is currently only in her second trimester. “Rebekkah showed amazing tenacity and heart out there. Even when she got those random food cravings and had to take a timeout to get a few hot dogs from a vendor in the stands, she got right back on the court and stepped up when her team needed her.”
“Honestly, I haven’t seen a performance like that since the 2002 Finals, when Lisa Leslie put up 17 points and 7 rebounds during her 14th hour of labor,” added Williams.
Following the victory, Brunson went on to collect the WNBA Finals MVP, becoming just the fifth pregnant player in league history to win the honor.

Oh My God! Ex-Senegal coach Bruno Metsu dead?

Former Senegal coach Bruno Metsu, who led the African country to the World Cup quarterfinals in 2002, has died aged 59, French media reported on Tuesday.
Local newspaper La Voix du Nord, sports daily L'Equipe and France Football magazine reported that Metsu, who quit his coaching job at Dubai club Al Wasl last year to fight stomach cancer, passed away overnight at his Dunkirk home in northern France.
The much-travelled Metsu, also known as "The White Sorcerer", also coached Guinea, Qatar, and several clubs in the Gulf region.
However, the highlight of his career came at the 2002 World Cup when Senegal beat holders France in the opening game and went on to reach the last eight. That year, Senegal also reached the African Nations Cup final.
